Gary Rogue & Miriam Román met in London and their connection since then has undergone a seismic shift. After an inspirational trip to Yucatan, Mexico, they joined forces on a video production and still photography venture where the aim is to create inspiring motion and static visuals that challenge the Status Quo.
They are a vastly experienced duo with over 10yrs in content creation and seeing through mid-big budget productions from creative to completion such as Documentaries, Events, Interviews, Live Shows, Lifestyle and Travel Media, Promos, Remote Footage Editing, Shorts or Long Form, and Video Journalism. Shot on-land, underwater and aerials in 4K resolution. They are based in London UK and currently covering European and Southeast Asian territories mainly but also travel on-location worldwide or collaborate with a vetted team of pro’s for larger scale projects.
The production value they offer is crafted with tools such as the Sony FS5, A7SII, Nikon D750, D7200, a6300 underwater, GoPro action cameras, and a mixture of full frame lenses. Aerials with the DJI Phantom 4. Gimbal stabilizer footage, pro lighting and multi-channel audio. Editing and Motion GFX on the Adobe Creative Cloud. Video colour grading on DaVinci Resolve.
Miriam has always been passionate about traveling, nature, fashion and photography. After finishing her Master’s degree in Biodiversity at Barcelona, she soon landed herself in Shanghai to work as an English teacher, a life altering experience. Her journey continued by living in other major cities such as Bangkok, New York, Moscow, Zurich, and London where she honed her skills as a photographer, social media expert and blog writer in one of Europe’s biggest creative hub, Shoreditch. Right about the time, her interest in video began to take-off too, and formed a double team as an assistant videographer. From cruising in billionaire yachts to hitchhiking across California, these many cultural influences have shaped the way she expresses her style.
Gary is a South African-Portuguese born in Johannesburg that grew up on the banks of the Vaal River, near Joburg, and alternate summers in Madeira Island, his family’s origin. Fascinated by the magic of showbiz, he studied Motion Picture Production, majoring in Directing and Scriptwriting at Pretoria Film School and kickstarted his career exploring Southern African countries like Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia, Swaziland and South Africa itself as a self-shooting Producer Director. He then progressed to directing and visual effects editing on-air promos and spots, before line producing and co-ordinating the post-production of a lifestyle magazine TV show. Not yet satisfied and still drawn by his European roots, he re-located to London UK to sharpen his niche as a full-time video journalist and become an Predator with a focus in narrative storytelling, self-shooting and post-production.
